Fitter Tailor
About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic professional Fitter/Tailor, distinguished by their charisma, technical prowess, and professional integrity. This role will include fittings, sewing on the machine, building client relationships, and supporting the tailor shop manager. This is a full-time position with opportunities for future growth.
Responsibilities
- Client Relationship Management and Fittings
- Maintain a professional, warm, welcoming studio environment
- Conduct fittings according to the Alteration Specialists Standard
- Build relationships with clients, influencers, brands, and stylists
- Make every client feel welcome and confident in the skills of you and your team
- Machine Production and Sewing
- Demonstrate that you are meeting personal production targets
- Cultivate proficiency with men’s, women’s, and bridal alterations as well as alterations of difficult fabrics
- Analytics
- Constantly evaluate processes that are not efficient and propose solutions to optimize our organization
- Inform front desk of all re-alterations
- Keep track of and scan your production during the day and communicate with front desk to confirm accuracy

Requirements
- 7–10 years of alteration tailoring experience required
- 2–3 years of general fitting experience required
- 1 year of fitting both men’s and women’s garments required
- Proficiency in English required
This is a mid-career role.
