Fitness Trainer

Responsibilities

• Create a class schedule for members, including orientation and DYOP (Develop your own program).
• Engage with members on the club floor regarding their fitness goals, instruct them on proper equipment usage, and offer support.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone by interacting with members and enforcing club policies.
• Perform a comprehensive walk-through of fitness areas to ensure a great member experience.
• Conduct prospective member calls and tours, assessing their membership needs and offering Trainer services.
• Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club, assisting with any questions or concerns.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with their inquiries.
• Frequently perform cleaning and sanitizing of all exercise equipment and Black Card spa amenities.
• Maintain restrooms by ensuring they are clean, sanitized, stocked, and clutter-free according to the routine cleaning schedule.

Requirements

• 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Qualifications

• Physical demands include continual standing, moving, communicating, lifting up to 75 pounds, and frequent cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
