Fitness Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Personal Trainer in Clemmons, NC who is passionate about helping individuals improve their health through movement, education, and support. This role is ideal for someone who wants to move beyond traditional gym settings and work directly with patients in a clinical, team-based environment focused on weight loss and chronic disease management.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group personal training sessions
• Develop customized exercise programs using functional and corrective exercise techniques
• Help patients overcome barriers to starting and maintaining a fitness routine
• Create a welcoming, energetic, and non-intimidating environment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team (medical, nutrition, behavioral health)
• Track and document patient progress and outcomes
• Educate patients on safe and sustainable movement practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field (preferred)
• Active Personal Training Certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, or equivalent)
• Current CPR/AED Certification
• Experience with functional training, corrective exercise, or group fitness preferred
• Strong communication and patient engagement skills
• Passion for working with individuals managing chronic conditions or weight loss goals
