Responsibilities
- Execute shipment plans within the scope of branch operations and United Van Lines.
- Manage workload to maximize efficiency and exceed customer expectations.
- Operate vehicle and equipment in the safest manner possible.
- Protect customer products and facilities during packing, moving, and installing.
- Identify significant customer service problems to the dispatcher for resolution.
- Maintain accurate order status for accountability.
- Handle assembly, delivery, and installation of all types of fitness equipment to health clubs.
- Assist with loading and unloading of trucks with fitness equipment from the warehouse.
- Unload trucks and deliver fitness equipment into client facilities.
- Go to and from client locations and send updates on directions and paperwork to McCollister’s Fitness planners.
- Supervise and train helpers.
- Status orders.
- Quality assurance.
- Handling freight.
- Completing paperwork.
- Customer relations.
Requirements
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience desired.
- Install experience a plus, but not necessary – Will provide education.
- McCollister’s driver certification.
- Clean, safe driving record.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Positive communication skills.
- Clean, safe driving record.
- Competent computer and iPad skills.
- Candidate must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Must be organized.
- Proven track record of working in a team environment and autonomously.
Qualifications
- Outfitted in McCollister’s Fitness shirts which are provided by the employer and black shorts or pants which are to be purchased by the employee.
- Act professionally at all times, especially when at a client location.
