Fitness Instructor
About the role
Provide personal training services to residents.
Lead group land and aquatic fitness classes, as assigned.
Conduct fitness assessments of residents.
Document resident attendance and individual fitness progress data.
Review and update with residents their individual training plans.
Provide resident engagement as allowed within the scope of the position.
Assist Fitness Manager in developing and implementing individual and group fitness sessions.
Create and execute activity and fitness programs for varied levels of physical abilities and interests.
Promote resident involvement in overall wellness programming by communicating events and actively participate in the events.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal training services to residents.
- Lead group land and aquatic fitness classes, as assigned.
- Conduct fitness assessments of residents.

Requirements
- Ace in exercise science or related field.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Two to three years of fitness experience.
- Accredited certification in personal training required. (ACE, ACSM, AEA, AFAA, or NASM).
- Current CPR certification.
- Aqua certification preferred.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for working with older adults and promoting wellness.
- Knowledge of fitness equipment and techniques.

Pay
$21.30 - $29.32 per hour.
Schedule
Work Saturdays from 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
