About the role
- Conducts research and analysis on local government policies and practices.
- Develops and implements strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness in city operations.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of current trends and best practices in public administration.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and implementation of departmental budgets.
- Manage and coordinate citywide initiatives aimed at enhancing community engagement and service delivery.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to city staff on policy matters.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Urban Planning, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in municipal government or a similar setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
