Fitness Director

Job Summary

The Fitness Director is responsible for the strategic oversight of all fitness operations, ensuring the delivery of professional, high-quality, safe, and innovative health and fitness services to our members. As the club's functional 'fitness expert,' the Fitness Director plays a pivotal role in shaping the overall fitness experience and culture.

Required

• About You:
  • Bachelor’s degree in health-related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years in fitness management, with at least 2 years in a managerial role that includes budgeting experience related to revenue generation and expense control.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in strategic and operational business planning, with the ability to develop and implement effective operational systems.
  • Current required certifications: ACSM, NASM, ACE, PTA Global, NFPT, ISSA, CSCS or NSCA.
• PREFERRED:
  • Demonstrated success in marketing and sales within the fitness industry, with a track record of driving member engagement and program participation.
  • Experience in organizing and managing multiple fitness programs and activities simultaneously, ensuring smooth operations and high member satisfaction.
  • Strong knowledge of fitness program development and execution, including personal training, group classes, and wellness initiatives.
  • Proven ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a fitness or health club environment, fostering strong member relationships.
  • Skilled in engaging with members, assessing their fitness needs, and creating a welcoming and supportive atmosphere that encourages participation and growth.
