About the role
The Fitness Consultant at The Alaska Club is responsible for providing expert guidance and instruction in various fitness programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized fitness plans based on client needs and goals.
- Provide one-on-one training sessions and group classes.
- Monitor and track client progress and adjust plans as necessary.
- Stay updated with the latest fitness trends and techniques.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their satisfaction and safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in fitness.
- Valid certification from a recognized fitness organization (e.g., ACE, NASM).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Strong physical fitness level.
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and exercise science.
- Experience with various fitness equipment.
Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
