Fitness Coach (Part-Time)
About the role
Your mission is to be the motivational anchor in our expansive corporate fitness center, ensuring the seamless delivery of every workout and coaching session. You set the stage for our members’ vitality, ensuring every weight, mat, and recovery tool is positioned with house proud precision. By owning the energy and flow of the fitness floor, you provide the expert foundation that fuels your members' physical performance and personal bests from the moment they begin their first set.
Responsibilities
- Own the logistical blueprint for your fitness services. Develop detailed fitness programs and classes, ensuring that every service is executed with the precision needed for a flawless service delivery.
- Serve as the on-site anchor for daily operations. Provide a calm, professional presence, channeling the swan to resolve issues as they arise while keeping the member experience steady and premium.
- Maintain the highest standards of space readiness. Oversee the meticulous teardown, reset, and restocking of the fitness floor, group fitness classrooms, and locker rooms, ensuring every space is returned to its five-star condition with all approved special touches in place.
- Complete comprehensive post-activation documentation. Capture detailed notes and learnings to help hone the craft of the entire team, ensuring we are constantly improving our delivery and anticipating future needs.
- Provide agile support across the building’s various service lines. Align with leadership to prioritize tasks that maximize your value, ensuring our collective execution capacity is focused where it matters most.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience personal training and teaching group fitness classes, ideally in a corporate fitness environment
- Nationally recognized Personal Training certification
- Proven experience delivering five-star service in high-volume or high-touch environments
- Effective problem-solver, resolving complex issues quickly while protecting the guest experience
- Comfortable partnering cross-functionally with key stakeholders to deliver an exceptional experience
- Tech-savvy, with experience using booking, scheduling, and collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Slack, event platforms)
- Adaptable and confident learning new systems for membership and program management
