About the role

StretchLab is seeking personal trainers, massage therapists, and dance/yoga/Pilates instructors to join our team of Flexologists. Founded in 2015 in Venice, California, StretchLab is the industry leader in one-on-one assisted stretching, offering a variety of services to empower clients to “Live Long.” Our team includes experts certified in physical therapy, chiropractic medicine, yoga, Pilates, and more, and we provide proprietary Flexologist™ training to ensure world-class stretching sessions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions and lead guided group stretch classes for up to 6 clients.
• Encourage and motivate clients throughout sessions, with empathy as a key skill.
• Build and retain StretchLab membership through sales, outreach, and client engagement.
• Manage client care by delivering a best-in-class experience, updating client notes, and booking recurring appointments.
• Ensure client safety through proper stretch techniques and enforcement of StretchLab policies.
• Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations.
• Address member concerns and assist with studio tours and sales as needed.
• Maintain a strong social media presence to support client membership and retention.
• Clean and maintain equipment to ensure availability for client use.

Requirements

• Passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility in a boutique fitness environment.
• Previous experience as a Massage Therapist, Personal Trainer, Physical Therapist, or Pilates/Yoga Instructor.
• Hands-on experience in a fitness/health environment.
• Fitness certification required.
• Ability to create a positive, welcoming environment for all clients.
• Strong communication skills and empathy.
• Enthusiasm for connecting with people and helping them achieve goals.
• Professional work ethic, reliability, and adherence to attendance policies.
• Availability to complete our 2-day Flexologist Training Program™ (20 hours online + 2 days in-person).
• Ability to reliably commute or relocate to Glen Allen, VA 23060.
