Fitness Coach
We are looking for a part-time Coach to deliver scientifically designed Orangetheory Fitness workouts in our studios, creating a high-energy, motivating, and results-driven experience for members. This role requires strong coaching, time management, and communication skills to engage multiple members in a group fitness setting while representing the Orangetheory Fitness brand.
About the Role
The Coach partners closely with the studio team to support sales and retention goals, maintain a welcoming environment, and ensure a seamless member experience. You will contribute to a positive studio culture, build member relationships, and help drive business growth through community engagement and marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, high-energy group workouts for all members each class session.
- Provide a welcoming, inclusive, and motivating experience for members, prospective members, and guests, reflecting Orangetheory Fitness brand standards.
- Accurately complete and maintain member documentation and records using company systems.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development.
- Conduct studio tours, communicate membership options, and respond to questions about programs and services.
- Support individual and team sales goals through outreach, follow-ups, and lead generation.
- Build relationships within the local community to increase brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
- Support marketing initiatives, including social media engagement and community events.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented studio environment.
- Communicate effectively with members and prospects via in-person, phone, email, and text.
- Process sales transactions accurately, including cash and credit card payments.
- Respond promptly and professionally to member inquiries, feedback, and concerns.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of group fitness training or personal training experience.
- Current Orangetheory Fitness approved fitness certification (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent).
- Prior experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, or a related client-facing role (0–1 year preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate diverse members.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and graphic design tools like Canva.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a positive attitude.
- Flexibility to respond to changes and others’ ideas comfortably.
- Strong organizational, time management, and attention to detail.

Work Environment
This role is primarily based in a fitness studio, involving frequent interaction with members, guests, and team members. Responsibilities include both front-desk tasks and studio-floor coaching, requiring extended periods of standing, walking, and engaging with others in a dynamic, high-energy setting. The environment may include moderate to loud noise levels due to music and group fitness classes. Administrative tasks include computer work, phone communication, and using standard office equipment. Occasional participation in offsite events or community activities may be required.
Physical Demands

Schedule
