About the role
The Coach is responsible for delivering scientifically designed Orangetheory Fitness workouts within OT Group Holdings, LLC studios while creating a high-energy, motivating, and results-driven member experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver an engaging, high-energy group workout experience for all members each class session.
- Provide a welcoming, inclusive, and motivating experience for all members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring every interaction reflects brand standards of Orangetheory Fitness.
- Accurately complete and maintain all required member documentation and records using company systems and tools.
- Participate in scheduled team meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development opportunities.
- Clearly communicate membership options and confidently respond to questions regarding programs and services during studio tours.
- Partner with studio team members to create a seamless, positive experience for prospective and current members.
- Support achievement of individual and team sales goals through outreach, follow-ups, and lead generation activities that drive membership growth.
- Build relationships within the local community to increase brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
- Support marketing initiatives, including social media engagement and participation in community events and studio activations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-presented studio environment in alignment with company standards.
- Communicate effectively with members and prospects across multiple channels, including in-person, phone, email, and text.
- Accurately process sales transactions, including cash and credit card payments, with integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Respond promptly and professionally to member inquiries, feedback, and concerns, escalating issues when appropriate.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of group fitness training or personal training experience required.
- Current Orangetheory Fitness approved fitness certification required (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM, NSCA, or equivalent).
- Prior experience in customer service, sales, hospitality, or a related client-facing role preferred (0–1 year).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate diverse members.
Skills
- Well-rounded understanding of fitness principles, including endurance, strength, and power training.
- Effective utilization of Orangetheory programming, technology, and coaching tools.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and graphic design tools like Canva.
