Fitness Ambassador

About the role

Plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and safe environment for all members and guests. This individual will assist with customer service, provide facility tours, maintain equipment cleanliness, and ensure adherence to gym rules and policies. Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve their goals with a professional, positive, and energetic demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Assist with customer service for members and guests
• Provide facility tours
• Maintain equipment cleanliness
• Ensure adherence to gym rules and policies

Requirements

• High School Graduate or Equivalent (GED)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification – within 90 days of hire
• AED (Defibrillator) certification – within 90 days of hire

Qualifications

• Preferred: ACSM (Sports Medicine) certification
• One year of wellness-related experience (nonessential)

Schedule

• PRN (as needed) position
• Shift hours vary
• Occasional weekend work
• No on-call requirement
