Fishing Outfitter - Part Time

About the Role

The Sales Outfitter performs various selling and customer service activities, including greeting and acknowledging customers, handling merchandise, providing information and assistance, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Supports a strong commitment to world-class customer service.
• Demonstrates product to customers and assists in making buying decisions by identifying needs and providing recommendations.
• Replenishes product on shelves per merchandising guidelines and maintains pricing and signing.
• Remains a product expert through ongoing training and stays knowledgeable of advertised sales.
• Assists with seasonal floor merchandise moves and restocks merchandise as required.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and well-stocked work area.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Promotes programs such as CLUB Membership, VOC, and In-Store Pick-up.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Ability to calculate figures such as discounts and make change.
• Strong communication skills in a friendly and professional manner.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Experience operating computerized point-of-sale register systems.

Physical Requirements

• Constantly stand and/or walk during shift.
• Occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, or ramps.
• Constantly communicate with others to exchange information.
• Occasionally repeat motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Occasionally operate machinery, power tools, motor vehicles, or heavy equipment.
• Light work involving moving objects up to 20 pounds constantly; may occasionally lift objects up to 100 pounds (with team assistance).
• Occasionally work in tight, confined spaces and noisy environments.
