About the role

The SCF Conseils Chaudière-Appalaches inc., a professional accounting firm offering accounting and tax services to agricultural and forestry producers, is seeking a fiscal advisor for its offices in Sainte-Marie and Saint-Georges.

Responsibilities

• Counsel clients on complex tax planning, business transfer, corporate restructuring, estate settlement, and financial planning;
• Review and prepare more complex tax returns for clients;
• Assist with the preparation of income tax returns for clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance;
• Member of the CPA Order;
• A Master’s degree in taxation or completed an ICCA In-Depth program;
• Experience in a practice or relevant experience;
• Excellent communicator and able to represent the service to clients;
• Proactive in finding solutions.

Qualifications

• Flexible working hours are available;

• Telecommuting is possible each day, subject to some presence at the office per month;
• Hourly overtime can be compensated or banked towards summer vacation;
• Compensation commensurate with expertise;
• Hourly wage up to $84.53;
• Performance-based bonuses up to $7,500;
