FIRST LEGO League Coach

Snapology is one of the best Children's Enrichment franchises in the country! You’ll love our core values and curriculum. We're looking for a fun, energetic FIRST® LEGO® League Coach to help kids ages 8–14 build robots, tackle challenges, and develop real-world teamwork and problem-solving skills!

Responsibilities

• Coach students through LEGO® robotics and coding challenges
• Help teams design, build, test, and improve their robots
• Encourage teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving
• Keep practices organized, positive, and FUN!
• Help prepare teams for FIRST® LEGO® League competitions

Qualifications

• Enjoy working with kids
• Dependable, patient, and energetic
• Like STEM, robotics, engineering, or technology
• Can learn alongside students — robotics experience is a plus, but not required

Other Responsibilities

• Lead groups students through curriculum-guided activities
• Instruct and monitor students in the use of learning materials and equipment
• Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and procedures
• Maintain discipline in accordance with the rules and disciplinary systems of Snapology
• Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use the information to adjust teaching strategies
• Adequately prepare for each program by reading curriculum, watching training videos and/or participating in face-to-face training sessions
• Handle inquiries from parents regarding Snapology programs
• Encourage students & parents to enroll students in future Snapology programs
• Participate in periodic Snapology training & staff meetings, as required

Pay

$22.50 per hour

Tuesdays & Thursdays, 2:00–6:20 PM
