Available for the 2026-2027 school year. Reports to Building Principal. Full-time (1.0 FTE) position at Ganiard Elementary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university with a major in education
- Valid Michigan teaching certificate
- “Highly qualified” status under the No Child Left Behind legislation
- Demonstrated experience working with first-grade students
- Physical examination by a licensed physician documenting capability to perform required duties
- Electronic fingerprint clearance from a criminal history record check
- Interest in increasing knowledge and understanding of diverse cultures
Pay
According to the negotiated Master Agreement with the Mt. Pleasant Education Association.
