First Assistant Manager

About the role

The First Assistant is the right-hand person to the General Manager and is responsible for managing all aspects of the business when the GM is not available. They participate in sales growth and food cost management, ensuring the restaurant hires qualified staff and keeps them motivated.

• Manage the restaurant during the General Manager's absence
• Ensure sales growth and food cost management
• Hire and train qualified staff
• Verify employee documentation upon start
• Keep staff updated on training and performance
• Generate a weekly schedule supporting sales goals

Requirements

Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality setting. Positive team player with a flexible schedule and passion for the fast-paced McDonald’s environment. Must be 18 years or older.
