First Assistant Manager

About the role

The First Assistant is the right-hand person to the General Manager and is trained to manage all aspects of the business when the GM is not available. They participate in sales growth and food cost management, ensuring the restaurant hires qualified crew who are well-trained and keep existing staff updated on training and motivation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the restaurant during the General Manager's absence
• Ensure the restaurant hires qualified crew members
• Make sure employees have proper documentation upon starting work
• Keep existing staff updated on training and motivated to perform at a high level
• Generate a weekly schedule that supports the store's sales goals

Requirements

Previous managerial experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. We're looking for positive team players with flexible schedules who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

• Must be 18 years or older
