Responsibilities

• Perform various labor-intensive tasks in an industrial setting under the direction of a supervisor or supervisor.
• May operate a variety of hand and power tools.
• Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, clean up rubble and debris and remove waste materials.
• Assist other craft workers.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used in an industrial setting.
• Some knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions.
• Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for extended periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions.
• Ability to use equipment and tools properly and safely.
• Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.
• Ability to work in a confined space.

Qualifications

• No minimum education requirements.
• 6+ months experience in an Industrial setting preferred.

• Regularly sit;
• Frequently use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms;
• Rarely stand;
• Rarely climb or balance;
• Rarely stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl;
• Frequently talk or hear;
• Frequently taste or smell;
• Regularly lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds and may frequently lift and/or move up to fifty pounds;
• Regularly use close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
