Braun Intertec is seeking an entry-level Firestopping Inspector to join our White Bear Lake, MN location. This role involves assisting in the quality control of inspection processes for new construction.
Responsibilities
- Receive training and execute firestop inspection policies, procedures, and technical processes, including field inspections and reporting of firestop applications
- Implement internal firestop policies, procedures, and technical processes, including the review of Life Safety Drawings, specifications, firestop submittals, UL systems, and special inspection reports
- Prepare reports and other work-related documents in a timely and accurate manner
- Understand and utilize safe work practices
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of construction or inspection-related experience preferred
- Ability to pass the IFC Firestop Inspectors exam with a minimum score of 80% within 30 days of start date
- Understanding of the inspection and reporting process as defined by the IBC
- Familiarity with reporting tools used in the industry
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Computer proficiency

Pay
$39,600.00 - $59,400.00 per year
