Responsibilities
- Installs caulking at Penetrations and Joints using various methods.
- Inspects work to ensure compliance with UL Design standards.
- Reads blueprints and life safety drawings.
- May access Penetrations and Joints using various equipment such as boom lifts, scissor lifts, swing stages, scaffolds, and ladders.
- Requires sitting, standing, walking, handling objects, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, talking, and hearing.
- Lifts and/or moves up to 15 pounds frequently.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Past firestop experience preferred.
- Dependable transportation required.
- Must be able to travel out of town for overnight and one-day trips.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
- Fall Protection, Forklift, Boom Lift, Scissor Lift certifications preferred.
