Firestop Estimator/Assistant Project Manager
Job Summary
Prepare accurate firestop cost estimates for both small and large-scale projects. Analyze plan documents and data to develop time, cost, materials, and labor estimates. Prepare estimates for management to assist in planning, organizing, and scheduling work. Calculate final cost figures, adjust for overhead and profit, and present a comprehensive price. Assist with bid closeout and final proposal preparations. Support sales efforts in the Firestop Division and build strong customer relationships. Plan, budget, oversee, and document all project aspects, including labor. Assist in managing the operational capabilities of the division. Oversee the company’s safety program and ensure compliance. Participate in staff training and development. Monitor productivity and address issues with the labor pool, including performance documentation. Oversee the company’s quality program to ensure high standards are met. Drive project performance to ensure completion under budget and on schedule.
Requirements
- Previous experience in firestop installation or related fields
- Knowledge of firestop materials, listings, codes, and standards
- Proven project management experience
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
