Firefighter/Paramedic - Entry Level

About the role

The Network/Computer Specialist is Promotional Only. This position requires that you possess a High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of specialized services in the installation, operation, repair and maintenance of computer networks and related equipment.
• Monitor, evaluate and modify network systems to assure proper security and operation.
• Install, maintain and repair computer hardware, software and peripheral equipment.
• Provide technical user support assistance.

Requirements

• Initial/Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school, or equivalent, supplemented by specialized training in computer science or a related field and three years of experience in the installation, maintenance and repair of computer systems, networks, peripherals and related equipment.
• LICENSES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Valid California Class C driver's license.

Pay

• Pay Increases: Pay increases annually on July 1st until top step is reached. Any employee hired or promoting on or before March 31st shall be entitled to a one step advancement on the following July 1st (PC Rule 70.200.2).

Schedule

• Full-time, 8 hours per day, 12 months per year.
