Firefighter-Paramedic

Requirements

• EMT-Basic certification and active enrollment in a Wisconsin Technical College System Paramedic program, with progress toward obtaining a Wisconsin EMT-Paramedic license (current Paramedic students are encouraged to apply).
• Successful candidates may be placed on an eligibility list and must obtain licensure before beginning employment as a Firefighter/Paramedic.
• Lateral hire opportunity: Candidates with a minimum of two (2) consecutive years at a previous fire department may be eligible for a lateral transfer.
