Firefighter

About the role

The role requires a candidate with extensive experience in firefighting operations and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergencies and provide immediate medical care as necessary.
• Operate fire trucks and other emergency vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Conduct fire prevention and safety inspections.
• Train new firefighters and assist in maintaining departmental equipment.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a firefighter training program.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Qualifications

• Excellent physical fitness and stamina.
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Proficient in computer systems and software applications.

Skills

• First aid and CPR certification.
• Knowledge of fire suppression techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
