Firearms Sales Outfitter, Full-Time

About the role

The Sales Outfitter - Firearms maintains counter sales and customer service for firearms, as well as floor and counter sales of other hunting merchandise. This role involves various selling and customer service activities to ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver world-class customer service to ensure a legendary experience for every customer.
• Assist customers in making buying decisions by identifying needs and providing product recommendations.
• Promote programs such as CLUB membership, VOC, and In-Store Pickup.
• Ensure 4473 Forms are completed thoroughly and accurately.
• Demonstrate products to customers.
• Organize and maintain merchandise within the retail store, including replenishing product on shelves per merchandising guidelines.
• Remain a product expert through ongoing training.
• Stay knowledgeable of advertised sales, maintain pricing, and update signage.
• Assist with seasonal floor merchandise moves.
• Keep work area clean, neat, and well-stocked with supplies.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 0-2 years of experience in retail.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Skills

• Product knowledge of firearms and ammunition.
• Understanding of ATF Federal and State Regulations, GCA.
• Customer service and sales experience with firearms and ammunition.
• Ability to merchandise and stock products.

Physical Requirements

• Constantly stand and/or walk during shift.
• Occasionally ascend or descend ladders, stairs, or ramps.
• Constantly communicate with others to exchange information.
• Occasionally repeat motions involving wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Occasionally operate machinery, power tools, or motor vehicles.
• Light work involving moving objects up to 20 pounds constantly; may occasionally move and lift objects up to 100 pounds (team lift as needed).
• Occasionally work in tight and confined spaces.
• Occasionally work in noisy environments.
