Essential Job Duties
- Communicate effectively with team members and management, maintaining professionalism and respect
- Audit firearm records, including ATF Form 4473, Acquisition & Disposition (A&D) records, and internal operational documentation to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies
- Make appropriate and permitted corrections or updates based on audit findings
- Prepare detailed Firearms Inventory Audit reports, including all required corrections and supporting information
- Complete all assigned training successfully
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Compensation
- Up to $22.00 per hour, based on experience
- $200 monthly car allowance
- $75 monthly cell phone reimbursement
- Rental car coverage for assignments of 75 miles or more
Physical Requirements
- Standing: Frequent during audits
- Sitting: Occasional for documentation and reporting
- Bending, Reaching, Stooping, Climbing: Frequent
- Walking: Frequent throughout store locations
- Kneeling: Occasional
- Lifting/Carrying: Up to 50–70 pounds; must safely lift at least 50 pounds
- No regular use of tools required
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- At least 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance
- Reliable transportation
- Ability and willingness to travel 100% (locally and nationally, including air travel as needed)
- Ability to become a listed Responsible Person with the ATF, including passing a federal background check
- Strong teamwork mindset with a people-focused approach
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in basic math calculations
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Excellent verbal, non-verbal, and active listening communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience working with the ATF
- Bilingual (Spanish)
- Experience working with audits, inventory reconciliation, or data analysis
