About the role
The Fire Systems Technician (Fire Alarm Technician) is responsible for the inspection, service, and commissioning of fire alarm and special hazards fire suppression systems while ensuring the work is performed in accordance with safety, design, budget, and schedule parameters.Responsibilities
- Inspect, service, and commission fire alarm and special hazards fire suppression systems.
- Interact with customers on a daily basis to provide excellent customer service.
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Work within established safety, design, budget, and schedule parameters.
Requirements
- 1-5 years of experience or equivalent education and experience.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
- A commitment to maintaining cutting-edge industry knowledge.
- Ability to execute tasks with a great amount of detail.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Knowledge of fire alarm and special hazards fire suppression systems.
- Experience with fire alarm system installation, testing, and maintenance.
