Fire Sprinkler Technician

We deliver comprehensive fire and life safety solutions—including installation and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems, alarm systems, extinguishers, and emergency lighting—to customers throughout Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to plan and execute system installations.
• Conduct regular inspections and tests to ensure functionality and compliance of fire sprinkler systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues with fire sprinkler components and systems.
• Adhere to local, state, and national fire safety codes and regulations.
• Collaborate with project managers, construction professionals, and team members to meet project goals and deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completed apprenticeship program or formal training in fire sprinkler system installation.
• Relevant certifications, such as NICET, are a plus.
• Proficient knowledge of fire safety codes and regulations.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in diverse conditions.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
