Fire Sprinkler Systems Inspector - Licensed

About the role

This position involves inspecting and testing fire sprinkler systems to ensure they function effectively and comply with NFPA standards. The role also includes adjusting or repairing malfunctioning systems, coordinating with the local fire department, advising customers on test and inspection results, and managing customer service.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test fire sprinkler systems
• Run tests and inspections on fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems
• Coordinate with the local fire department
• Adjust or repair malfunctioning systems
• Inform the Service Department of customer needs
• Advise customers of test and inspection results
• Communicate with Area Coordinator regarding inspections, rescheduling, etc.
• Answer and manage incoming calls from customers and office staff
• Accurately document service calls

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years post-high school education preferred
• NICET certification and/or fire sprinkler background a plus
• Valid drivers license required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and use a ladder up to 8-ft
• Ability to work M-F 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and be flexible
• Ability to handle pressure, various tasks assigned, and meet deadlines
