A Day in the Life of the Building of the Future
Assisting Lead Fire Sprinkler Technician with conducting installation, maintenance and repairs on Sprinkler and Suppression life safety systems.
Learn/Assist in the installation of fire protection piping, valves and accessories for commercial and industrial application.
Must be able to work alternative shifts or weekends to meet customer and/or job requirements.
Must perform all duties in a safe and professional manner.
What We Look For
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's License, and a dependable means of transportation to the employer's place of business and/or jobsite.
- Ability to work well with others
- Physically capable of performing the essential functions of the daily work, with or without a reasonable accommodation and without posing a direct threat to the health and safety of the individual or others
- Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in written format
- Preferred Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, schematics, submittals and operational/product manuals (this can be taught to employee in first 12 months).
- Understands the importance of providing quality service, inspection and technical installation support.
- Experience with hand tools (this can be taught to employee in first 12 months)
