Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Learn and apply proper techniques to cut, thread, and fit pipes, ensuring precise alignment and secure connections for the fire sprinkler system.
- Acquire knowledge of fire sprinkler system components, codes, regulations, and safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including installation details, repairs, inspections, and tests, to ensure compliance with regulations and facilitate future maintenance.
- Work closely with the installation team to ensure timely completion of projects, providing support and assistance as required.
- Demonstrate a professional and customer-focused approach when interacting with Foremen, Superintendents, Project Managers, Coworkers, Subcontractors, and Customers.
- Addressing customer concerns and providing assistance as required.
Education/Qualification
- Minimum of 1 year of Fire Sprinkler or Construction experience is required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in working with hand and power tools.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in the field of fire sprinkler system installation.
Other Duties
- Adheres to the Code of Conduct, Confidentiality Agreement, and Company Safety Policy.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk and maneuver self around construction job sites and climb ladders occasionally.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy pipe daily (10-40 lbs frequently and 50-75 lbs occasionally).
- Bending and squatting frequently and for long periods of time.
- Reaching and performing work above shoulder level frequently and for long periods of time.
- Ability to withstand occasional exposure to hot, cold, and/or inclement weather on job sites.
- Ability to wear PPE such as steel toe shoes, ear plugs, safety glass, safety harnesses, and hard hats occasionally on job sites.
