Fire Sprinkler Inspector
Duties
- Ensure all inspections are completed on time and accurately.
- Test all building sprinkler control panels, devices, and functions of the sprinkler system.
- Enter test results into the Palm handheld device.
- Download information and generate a completed Sprinkler Inspection Report.
- Participate in monthly team meetings.
- Perform other duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent with at least years' experience as a commercial fire sprinkler inspector.
- Must have a KY fire sprinkler inspector license.
- Study and learn NFPA standards for the inspection and testing of fire protection systems.
- Stay current with code requirements, and industry changes, and obtain NICET certifications.
- Clear MVR check to drive company vehicle.
Physical Requirements
- Industrial, Commercial, & Residential building environment with moderate to high noise levels.
- Moderate to high physical demands including standing, walking, climbing ladders, lifting up to 50 pounds, and using a computer and phone.
Compensation and Benefits
- $30-$35 per hour DOE.
- Industry experience may affect compensation.
