Fire Sprinkler Inspector

Duties

• Ensure all inspections are completed on time and accurately.
• Test sprinkler control panels, devices, and functions, and record results.
• Generate Sprinkler Inspection Reports after completing an inspection.
• Participate in monthly team meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• RME-I required.
• FAL and other related licenses preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with Fire Sprinkler Systems required.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards and ability to stay updated with code requirements and industry changes.
• Proficiency in using test equipment such as sensitivity test equipment, multi-meters, battery analyzers, sound level meters, and communication devices.

Qualifications

• Education: Study and learn NFPA standards for the inspection and testing of fire protection systems.
• Certifications: Obtain NICET certifications.

Skills

• Ability to work in industrial, commercial, and residential building environments.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Computer and phone skills for consistent daily use.
