About the role
This role is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of design experience who is looking to continue developing their technical skills in a supportive environment. The team is looking for an individual who is eager to learn, coachable, and motivated to build a long-term career in fire protection design.
Responsibilities
- Assist experienced designers in the design of commercial fire sprinkler systems
- Learn and apply best practices in fire protection design
- Contribute to the development of project documentation
- Participate in training and mentorship programs
Requirements
- 1-3 years of design experience in fire protection or related field
- NICET certification is not required but is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Technical degree in fire protection engineering, architecture, or a related field preferred
Skills
- AutoCAD or similar drafting software proficiency
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Team player with a willingness to learn and grow
