Fire Science Adjunct
Responsibilities
- Teach assigned Fire Science courses following the College’s approved syllabi and academic calendar.
- Conduct all scheduled class sessions and maintain professional classroom management.
- Accurately record and report student grades and attendance using institutional systems.
- Participate in student learning assessments and support the College’s institutional effectiveness goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Science or a closely related field.
- Experience in the Fire Service field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Fire Science or related discipline.
- Supervisory or command-level experience in Fire Service.
- College-level teaching experience.
- Experience with distance learning or online teaching.
- Ability to teach and engage a diverse student population effectively.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation Rate: $962 per credit taught.
