Fire Safety Director

Responsibilities

• Handling the fire panel and addressing any alerts or concerns
• Taking system offline when required
• Writing detailed reports
• Making log entries and submitting reports through an online report system
• Performing fire inspections and handling fire drills
• Securing the lobby and front desk area
• Aiding in all other security matters
• Greeting guests and directing them to proper staff
• Supervising and providing directions to other security staff

Requirements

• Valid NY Security Guard License
• Valid F89, T89 cards or Z89 certificate
• Authorized to work in the US

Qualifications

• Great customer service attitude
• Efficent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to handle simple computer and smartphone operations
• Ability to stand for long hours if required
• Ability to climb stairs
• Basic knowledge of security operations and procedures
