Job Duties
- Sells services and products within assigned territory, maintaining assigned sales/service quota and following established guidelines.
- Identify prospects utilizing creative lead generating techniques.
- Present sales presentation and proposal to prospects, identifying positive features and advantages of our products and services over those of the competition.
- Follow up with prospects.
- Inspect, service, install fire extinguishers, fire suppression systems, and exit/emergency lighting.
- Process work orders and complete all paperwork in accordance with approved and standardized procedures.
Core Competencies
- Proficient computer skills in Windows based software and MS office 2000 or higher.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Able to multi-task and prioritize.
- Good organizational skills.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record that meets company requirements
- Strong analytical and mechanical aptitude.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Must possess strong communication, negotiating, and time management skills.

- Aptitude for problem solving; ability to determine solutions for customers (consultative sales approach); customer focused.

- Available for travel, nights and weekends to accommodate the customers' agenda.

Physical Requirements & Exposures
- Must be in good physical condition with no limitations.
- Must be willing to work outdoors in inclement weather.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 pounds
- Must be able to carry 50 pounds repeatedly
- Must be able to push/greater than 100 pounds as needed
- Must be able to pull/greater than 100 pounds as needed
- Must be able to safely climb a ladder and reach a height of at least 12 ft.
- Constant (5-8hrs/shift) standing, walking, handling items, and eye/hand/foot coordination
- Frequently (2-5hrs/shift) lifting, carrying, repetitive motions, noise exposure, grasping items
- Occasionally (up to 2hrs/shift) sitting, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, balancing, reaching, crouching, exposure to weather
Compensation
- Compensation packages are commission based, rewarding hard working people for their efforts. Potential compensation for the first year is $40,000 to $60,000, with the potential for top performers to earn more in subsequent years.
- Candidates must live in Memphis, TN or surrounding areas.
- Candidates must successfully complete an employment background investigation and drug screening
