Fire Protection Project Manager

About the role

The Fire Protection Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of fire protection systems in various projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the design and implementation of fire protection systems in construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal building codes and regulations.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, coordinating with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
• Conduct inspections and tests of fire protection systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Train staff and clients on the proper operation and maintenance of fire protection systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fire protection engineering or construction management.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards and local building codes.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with project management software such as Primavera P6.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
