Fire Protection Project Manager

About the role

The Fire Protection Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the design, construction, and maintenance of fire protection systems in various projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and implementation of fire safety plans and procedures.
• Manage project teams to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Ensure all fire protection systems are installed according to code and manufacturer specifications.
• Perform inspections and tests on fire protection systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Prepare reports and documentation related to fire protection projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in fire protection engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with building inspection processes.
• Understanding of HVAC systems and their interaction with fire protection systems.

Pay
