About the role
Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining fire protection systems in various projects. Works closely with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure compliance with local building codes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and specify fire suppression systems, including sprinklers, dry-pipe systems, and other protective measures.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate fire protection solutions into building designs.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure adherence to fire safety regulations.
- Prepare detailed specifications and drawings for fire protection systems.
- Provide technical support and training to project staff and clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in fire protection engineering.
- Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
