About the role
Responsible for overseeing fire safety measures in large commercial buildings.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement fire safety plans
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with local fire codes
- Train building staff on fire safety procedures
- Respond to fire emergencies and coordinate response efforts
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fire protection engineering
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and local building codes
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
Qualifications
- Passing score on the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam
- Valid driver’s license
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with fire alarm systems and sprinkler systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
