About the role
Responsible for overseeing fire safety measures in commercial buildings. Ensures compliance with local fire codes and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee fire safety inspections and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain fire safety policies and procedures.
- Train building occupants on fire safety protocols.
- Respond to fire emergencies and coordinate response efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in fire protection engineering.
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and local fire codes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
Skills
- Proficient in fire alarm systems and detection technologies.
- Experience with building automation systems.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
