About the role
We seek a Fire Protection Engineer to perform professional-level fire protection engineering services such as life safety code consulting and fire protection design. This role requires approximately 35% domestic travel to various unanticipated project sites throughout the US.
Responsibilities
- Fire alarm design
- Sprinkler system design
- Special hazard system design criteria
- Code compliance reviews
- Use of design and simulation software: AutoCAD, Pathfinder, Consolidated Fire and Smoke Transport (CFAST), Pyrosim, and CONTAMW
- Testing of fire protection equipment
- Smoke control modeling
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fire protection engineering
- Demonstrated knowledge of fire protection equipment testing and smoke control modeling through academic coursework or experience
Pay
National pay range: $92,643–$120,495 USD. Potential yearly bonuses.
