About the role

At Strategic Connections, we don’t just install fire systems — we save lives, protect property, and build futures. We’re looking for a Fire Protection Designer (Sprinkler) to join our league of heroes. If you're passionate about precision, safety, and working for a company that actually puts its people first, this is where your career takes flight.

Responsibilities

• Prepare layouts, calculations, and submittal drawings using CAD, Revit, or similar design software.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless system integration.
• Stay on top of industry codes and standards (NFPA, AHJ requirements, etc.).
• Review project specs and assist with estimating and material selection.
• Collaborate on innovative, life-saving solutions with a team that has your back.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in fire protection design (alarm, sprinkler, or both)
• Working knowledge of fire protection codes and standards
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SprinkCAD, HydraCAD, Revit, or similar
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• NICET certification (a big plus, but not required — we’ll help you get there)
• A mission-driven mindset — because we take our responsibility seriously

Benefits

• Life Building benefits – Because waiting to feel secure isn’t how we operate.
• Ongoing career planning – We help you map out your future and grow with us, not away from us.
• Employee-first culture – We listen, we support, and we celebrate your wins.
• Stability + Fulfillment – We want this to be your last job because you love it here.

Pay

• Top-of-industry pay – We believe heroes deserve heroic compensation.
