Description The Fire Protection Admin provides essential clerical and organizational daily support in a fast pace office setting. Office Equipment Operate office equipment such as scanners, copiers or phone systems. Use computers for various applications such as database management or excel/ word processing. Phone calls Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate personnel, log detailed messages. Purchase Order Receiving Utilize vendor packing slips from warehouse personnel to verify with system for updating item(s) in system. Track backorders and any missing material. Request Vendor credits when necessary. Transfer Update Utilize company branch transfer documents from warehouse personnel to verify with system for updating item(s) in system. Billing Preparation Verify to system all material and quantities pulled for customer. Obtain customer purchase order if missing. Driver Deliveries Prepare shipping documents (bill of ladings) and schedule driver deliveries. Scanning All documentation is to be scanned into system for corresponding tasks. Schedules Communicate with departments on daily production/shipping schedule. Sales Support Perform all other duties as assigned. Requirements EDUCATION High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES No certifications or licenses required Experience No prior experience required TALENTS Math Problem Solving Computer Literacy Detail Orientation Ability to focus
