About the role
The Fire Program Coordinator will assist with the day-to-day operations of the Fire Suppression and Fire Prevention and Community Risk Reduction programs. The primary focus will be supporting drill operations and all logistical requirements to facilitate effective, efficient, and productive training opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Supports drill operations and logistical requirements for training opportunities
- Facilitates effective, efficient, and productive training sessions
Requirements
- Fire Suppression and Fire Prevention and Community Risk Reduction experience
- Hazmat Awareness and Operations Certification
- NFPA Firefighter II Certification
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Fire Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in fire suppression and prevention
- Knowledge of NFPA standards and codes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
