About the role
The TCBH Security Department is hiring for Fire Prevention/Security Officers I. Duties would include inspection and patrolling of buildings and grounds for elimination of fire hazards; enforcement of rules and regulations; providing assistance to employees or visitors; and performing other duties related to the protection of state property, employees, visitors and others.

Requirements
- No experience or education is required.
- Must be able to pass an OSBI background check.
- Willing and able to fulfill any job-related travel normally associated with this position and as such have a valid driver’s license.
- Must meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 60 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum force of 30 pounds.
Qualifications
- Must submit to a physical examination and meet the physical examination requirements upon a conditional offer of employment.
Skills
- Ability to enforce rules and regulations
- Knowledge of fire prevention and security procedures
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

Pay
Hourly rate: Level I-$15.18 $0.50/hr shift differentials when working evening or nights and $0.75/hr weekends
Schedule
Primary Working Hours are 11:30pm-8:00am
