About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough investigations into fire incidents to determine the cause and prevent future occurrences.
Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed fire scene examinations
- Interview witnesses and gather evidence
- Prepare investigative reports and present findings
- Collaborate with other departments to implement safety measures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Science, Forensic Science, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fire investigation or related field
- Knowledge of fire dynamics and forensic analysis
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Passing score on a background check
Skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
